RADAR MRS - Serie
Micran Radar surveillance system is based on radar. MRS series Radars survey the area of up to 19 km2 in 2.5 seconds at any fog, snow, or rain, day or night. SJoint use of optical and radar sensors can intensely reduce the time of zone scanning while increasing the probability of correct detection of the invasion. This circumstance is determined by different physical principles of operation of the optical and radar sensors. Thus, the radar is used as the primary tool for scanning areas and detect potential threats and an optical sensor is only used to further assess the situation.
The modern approach to the construction of security systems is a regular analysis of treatments and founding of security barriers, which detect by different detection methods. Physical diversification of detection methods has paramount importance. Disadvantages of some sensors have to be compensated by strengths in others. So selection of sensors depends on objects' perimeter, model of potential threats, weather conditions, etc.
Nowadays major companies' strategic facilities security is based on video surveillance systems.
In recent years, we see great technological advances in this area. However, the cost of construction and maintenance of such systems often exceeds the economic benefits from their
use, especially in large facilities. Video analytics is still a costly myth. The automation level is not high, and as a consequence, the number of agents which monitor in real-time the system is not reduced.
The system of monitoring and protection of Micran is based on radar (RLS). MRS series radars 2 surveys an area of 19 km2 in 2.5 seconds at any fog, snow, or rain, day or night. Joint use of optical and radar sensors can intensely reduce the time zone review while increasing the probability of correct detection of the invasion. This circumstance is determined by different physical principles of optical and radar sensors operation. The main reason for this is to use radar as a means of area primary scanning and identify potential threats, a resource of optical sensors is only used to further evaluate the situation.
Solid-State Radars can tune output power for best performance.
Drastic surveillance system's efficiency increase
Incorporated radars significantly reduce the number of cameras and other sensors, displays, and operators due to automatic target detection and tracking within the security area.
Unrestricted large area monitoring under any weather conditions
Radar provides continuous coverage and automatic scanning of over 19 km2 area. And within this area targeting and tracking are equally reliable under any environment: rain, snow, night-time, low visibility, etc.
Security system's enhanced abilities
Radar's positioning data and location mapping allow defining multiple complex security areas, setting priorities, and provides security scenario variety.
High-resolution target recognition
With radar's range resolution of 3 meters, it is possible to obtain highly defined information of targets size and quantity.
